The Toro Company is committed to the protection of the environment as a company value and sound business strategy. Our passion is helping homeowners and professionals create beautiful outdoor spaces, with products, systems and services that are manufactured in an environmentally responsible manner.
The Toro Foundation and The Toro Company provide numerous grants and scholarships to environmental organizations and programs. In addition, we fund turf management research programs at leading universities and invest in our own agronomic research to help us develop innovative products and technologies that protect and preserve the earth's limited resources.
Our Involvement in the Community
The strong cultural values that drive The Toro Company's success encourage giving back and sharing resources. While the beautification and preservation of outdoor environments is the Giving Program's primary mission, its support of education and civic programs is equally important. As a 12-year member of the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Keystone Program, Toro donates at least 2% of domestic pre-tax profits to the community each year. From scholarships and grants to product donations and employee engagement, Toro enhances the health and well-being of our communities through energetic outreach and involvement.
