Kevin Smith is vice president of Ditch Witch, a leader in the underground utility construction industry. In his role, Kevin has overall responsibility for sales, marketing, product development, quality and customer service for Ditch Witch – in addition to the American Augers, Trencor, Subsite and Radius HDD businesses.

Kevin joined The Toro Company in 2019 with the acquisition of Charles Machine Works, Inc., parent company of Ditch Witch and other leading underground construction brands. At that time, Kevin served as general manager of Subsite and Hammerhead Trenchless. He joined Charles Machine Works, Inc. in 1993 and held various roles in manufacturing, sales, marketing and research and development.

He received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. He currently serves on the Association of Equipment Manufacturers Infrastructure Taskforce.
