Vice President, Technology

Kurt Svendsen is vice president of technology at The Toro Company. In his role, Kurt has responsibility for digital innovation and creative technology solutions to help to further accelerate the company’s strategies for alternative power, smart-connected and autonomous products. He oversees The Toro Company’s Center for Technology, Research and Innovation (CTRI) and enterprise information technology teams.

Prior to joining The Toro Company in 1999, Kurt held information technology roles of increasing responsibility at Andersen Consulting and Medtronic. During his time with The Toro Company, he has held various leadership positions including vice president of strategy, corporate and channel development and vice president of information services.

He received a Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, as well as an MBA from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management.
