Kurt D. Svendsen

Vice President, Strategy, Corporate and Channel Development

Kurt Svendsen was appointed vice president, strategy, corporate and channel development in November 2020. He previously served as vice president of information services from May 2013 to October 2020. He is responsible for enterprise strategy development and planning, acquisitions and other investments, and portfolio management. He also leads the Company's distributor development function and strategic technologies group.

Svendsen served in multiple information technology roles at Andersen Consulting and Medtronic before joining The Toro Company in 1999, and held various information services management positions. Starting in 2007, he spent six years in business roles as a director in The Toro Company's strategy and business development group, and then managing director of investor relations, corporate communications and community relations efforts, before returning to lead the information services organization.

Svendsen holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
