<b>Thomas J. Larson</b>

Vice President, Corporate Controller

Tom Larson was appointed vice president, corporate controller in June 2013, and named chief accounting officer in July 2013. He has responsibility for financial leadership across all divisions, financial accounting, transactional and personnel accounting and financial systems.

Larson joined The Toro Company in 1981 and served in various roles in the service parts group, Toro Credit Company, and corporate finance. After managing the planning function for the consumer products and landscape contractor businesses, Larson was named controller of the commercial products business in 1996. In 1998, he returned to corporate finance as director of planning and analysis. Later, as assistant treasurer, he was responsible for investor relations, banking relationships and treasury operations. He was named treasurer in January 2006, and vice president, treasurer in 2008, adding responsibility for credit, financial services, tax and risk management.

Larson received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Minnesota, Morris, and later earned his MBA at the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management. He currently serves on the boards of director of VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People) and The Toro Foundation.
